What is a Photogram / Rayogram ?
A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera by placing an object directly onto the surface of photographic paper and then exposing it to light. This creates a shadow, the paper is back and the shadow comes out white. Its like doing a cyanotype - but your in a dark room. Rayograms are EXACTLY the same as a photogram but someone called Man ray had renamed it.

Over all I am very happy with the outcomes of my images that I had made, I enjoyed using the dark room and learning how to create photograms, I will be using this type of method later in the future because I think it's a good way to create photos.
Moholy Nagy
Moholy Nagy uses a variety of different objects in his photograms to create an overall image for example in the last photo he had the plate of a grill, a spatula and someones had to make it look like this person is grilling food, however he gives it an abstract effect to it because there are fingers in the spatula and the hand is over the spatula rather than around it.
In another image he uses shapes and has inverted the actual image, this gives it a whole different effect because we are use to the black background and the objects being white, so seeing and photogram inverted makes it seem there was a different technique in doing this image.
